With this website I would like to share some information and resources about something I greatly care about:
Spirituality

For me spirituality simply means growing as a human being, becoming more aware of the spirit world, your "inner voice", to feel, to find peace from within, becoming ONE with the Universe... (or something like that anyway).

for the purpose of this website, religion is defined as:
Mainstream "spiritual movements" or "institutionalised systems" grounded in such belief and worship. (In other words, if you go to a church, read some kind of bible, and pray regularly, you are practising a religion.)

for the purpose of this website, spirituality is defined as:
The search for the truth through love, peace, meditation or religion, as well as a longing to understand our place and purpose on earth. The knowledge that there exists other dimensions, or planes of existence, "a spirit dimension", where physical form does not necessarily exits.

being open-minded:

I will do my best to be as objective as possible, in other words, the only kind of censoring that I will do will be to minimize any offensive language.

I ask anyone visiting this website, reading the articles, or writing some articles, to please be open-minded about the beliefs and opinions of other people. Just because you don't agree, does not give you the right to be rude to someone else.

why I decided to start this website:

The topics I've chosen really interest me, and since www.spiritweb.org is currently offline, I miss a website that offers a big selection of articles about spiritual and metaphysical topics.

So I thought...why not start one?

I'm not interested in starting another "Directory" with links to other websites, I actually would like to publish articles here, to get authors to write articles about various topics and then publish on this site and in a newsletter (maybe...??? still thinking about it).

So if you'd like to write something (or have written something), send it to me at webmaster@spiritualpaths.co.uk, and I'll take a look at it.

You don't have to write about the above topics, if you send me a good article worth publishing, I will create another topic just for you.
